MISHIBINIJIMA ART COLLECTOR:
To walk around the gallery floors with Mishibinijima explaining each Mishmountain piece represents hospitality and professionalism she expressed to me this morning, I'll be back with my private viewing appointment and must apologize people who were locked out.

GROUP of SEVEN NATIVE ARTIST QUESTION: This question asked multiple times during Mishibinijima Private Art Gallery 2017 art season. During my early years, invitation came to me from a well known art gallery in southern Ontario to open the gallery's permanent native art collection. In attendance were up and coming and pioneer artist of the day. During this festive time I tried communicating and greet older artist congratulating them as well but the older wanted no part of artist dialogue while others were huddled around their private little circles that night and thought: Is this the way established artist act?. That evening and still today I don't care less about these people and didn't want any part of them. I shared my personal experience with a mentor medicine man and told me, Just focus what's in front of you and nothing matters if one of them said "hello" to you.
(This was my only time in my life I tried communicating with the group of seven native art member's.)

SIGNATURE SERIES by MISHIBINIJIMA ART EXHIBITION - 2017: To exhibit this many Signature Series by Mishibinijima is a one time event and very rare the last time being 1988 and this art exhibition a must see exhibit and only possible by appointment, it took me fifteen years to make twenty-four paintings - 705-859-3871

INDIAN RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL ILLUSTRATIONS by MISHIBINIJIMA SECOND RUN PUBLISHING: So many people left out getting a copy of this book and needs a second run, I'm in the process of getting this second run done through prepaid orders, this way I'll know how much I need to get done and send those out soon as possible - Thank you..

INDIAN RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL ILLUSTRATIONS by MISHIBINIJIMA: I feel great pride having my IRS art project home within two weeks and don't have any immediate plans having them on exhibit. Better place for them will be in shipping crates until something comes up for them or place them in the art market who knows, idea of having art exhibit and book opening been DONE.

PROSTATE CANCER: Family physician called the other day wanting me to come in: Your PSA blood test revealed you have prostate cancer and like to know what you're going to do and told her: I'll look into it. This afternoon I searched a tree I need for its inner bark enough to make four gallons of herbal drink that rids prostate cancer in thirty days and do this alone also.

NOTICE: This herbal drink handed down only shared with my inner circle of art collectors, people I know personally and sorry about internet correspondence not answered.

APPLY A GRANT THEY SAID: I never and will and never apply for any type of artist grant in Canada. Everything done nationally and internationally bought and paid for by Mishibinijima. Elder stated: If you have personal visions on this artist path, you pay and pay alone to succeed and be very careful who ventures into your most inner circle, through images you're leaving yourself open to negative energy and never forgot that lesson today, so much of this bad energy passed around and not coming close to it.

INDIAN RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL ILLUSTRATIONS by MISHIBINIJIMA "Dedicated to my Mother"

COMMENT: Living in Wikwemikong Unceded Indian Reserve my entire life, this allowed me to see great change in my community over decades. My life was taught knowledge in culture and spiritual connectedness.
My mother was a great teacher, every time we sat or daily telephone conversations she commented "What did you do today?" and described to her a painting on process.

She spoke and shared stories that occurred with family and friends inside Indian Residential School over the years saying: "You should paint these events someday" knowing her stories really bothered me.

Few months before her passing and bedridden, one morning we spoke during her birch bark craft making, she told me another story and replied: All the stories you shared about Indian Residential Schools, I feel these are yours because they happened to you.

Her response that morning: "They happened to us" and left it at that.

Next few months admitted into hospital at a weaken state, once again she asked: How's your day going? You should paint one of my stories and there I seen:

My teacher and my mother begged me to paint her life story on canvas, sitting side by side explaining the pain she went through, I felt angry for not seeing it.

Titles that go with Mishibinijima's Indian Residential School Illustrations exactly what I felt "as you're reading them," it's her story and descriptions should not be repeated.

My spiritual mentor was Sam Osawamick, his practice was being a medicine man and well respected internationally and him too shared, Just talk when people are in front of you, each and everyone of us each carry this spiritual light, our spiritual ship into the spirit world.

When some people speak, this light changes into a grey oraha foggy color that's lost inside the light itself, untruthful spirit emerges.

Indian Residential School has this white foggy color each time mother shared a story, I'm thinking screams of hurt falling on deaf ears and very ironic decision makers all new this was happening through documentation.

My older brothers and sister never spoke events and what followed were Indian Day Schools taught by catholic nuns, those places weren't too bad, every now and then just get a strapping.

NOTE
I took upon myself to illustrate Indian Residential School treatment to students, I'll just illustrate titles because you'll " FEEL" what they went through and "No explanation needed."

My illustrations on acid free paper will demonstrate that, " The topic of Indian Residential Schools" should never die because it's part of Canadian history.

I feel it's very important to illustrate this event for future generations as part of Native American legacy in art form, it will be forgotten within a century if someone does not.

Paintings done on acid free paper will be set aside as the original digitally documented and be sold separately, art collectors on both sides remark this project should stay together but daily economics trumps concerns. " Life itself must go on ."
